    Team stands before him with arms crossed, a flush to his cheeks he assumes is from the sun, and with an adorable pout of his lips that Win always wants to kiss off of him. “Lunch is lunch, hia,” he states matter-of-factly. “I wanted to give you something tangible, too.”

    Win could argue that Team’s entire existence in his life is a gift, but he knows that would just get him a scowl at best, and then Team would threaten to take the bag away. And while Win is not easily swayed by material things, he can’t deny the excitement of opening presents on his birthday still gets to him sometimes.

    That doesn’t stop him from saying something about it, at least. “You didn’t have to get me anything, baby.”

    There’s the scowl. “I know. Now open it.”

    It's Win's birthday. Team gives him a gift.
    (It's himself. Nobody is surprised.)

    When Win and Team break up during Win's postgraduate studies, Win chooses to remain in London.

    Five years later, an injury brings Team to London as well.

    It would be the perfect opportunity for a reunion if only they hadn't both moved on.

    If Team meets Win again, he’ll be civil. Friendly. He’ll prove to everyone who’s doubting him right now that he’s not the same brat who moped around Bangkok for two years while Win studied to become the superstar hotelier he must be today.

    Maybe they’ll even become friends.

    After all, the Team who broke up with Win and then regretted it bitterly afterward is a very different idiot from the more mature and confident Team he is now.

    It was his mother’s idea for him to apply in the first place. Because she thought he needed to face reality eventually, that he himself isn’t a regular person, and maybe he’d be happier if he found people like him. People that can relate to him on a more intrinsic level. And Nevermore has great education, regardless of the creatures it houses.

    He’d gone through with it to make her happy. He never expected to actually get in.

    Loosely based around the universe of 'Wednesday', Team is a siren raised in normie world and finds himself nervous around other mythical creatures. Especially vampires.

    Win is a vampire. And his roommate. Cue tension.

    “Team,” Win finally groans, his voice a rasp from disuse. He struggles to lift himself away from Team’s throat, opting to just tilt his head away entirely to where Team can no longer see his face. “What are you doing here?”

    “I thought you were sick,” he pants and whoa, when did he get so out of breath? Team twists his wrists until Win releases his hold. “I came in to check on you.”

    Win puffs out a humourless laugh that instantly grates on Team’s nerves. “‘M not sick,” he mutters.

    When Win fails to answer his phone all day, Team finds out why
