Sara’s hands stretched out, and contrary to her previous actions of moving away from his touch, she now took his hand from his lap and held it carefully, almost daintily. She took a deep breath, seeming to gather her courage, the warmth from Keiji in her hands, welling up.
“It’s not fair, the way you act…” she trails off, looking at his hand, trapped between hers, but her eyes glance up at his briefly before she continues. “You make me have expectations.”
