She could hear a fluttering heartbeat. Too fast for a vampire. And yet, bright red eyes squinted up at her and Caitlyn felt her chest cave in. She took a deep breath and her worst fears were confirmed. This was a baby. A literal fledgling. A few days old maximum. Not even fully transformed, which explained the too fast heartbeat. Someone had abandoned a baby out on the streets. She could smell it, under the smell of blood and garbage was the unmistakable baby scent of a freshly turned vampire.

Summary
Vi and Cait spend a night at a club in Piltover.

“I became angry.” Cait lets out a soft breath, and Vi straightens herself to look at Cait in the eye again. “You know how the story goes.”
Another blade of light slashes against Cait’s face, right across her eye patch, and ignites her skin from within. Vi squints at her now, trying to soak in every detail that she can, but her mind wanders to those drunken nights at the bar. She remembers that rage that ignited her every choice, from demanding another round to glaring at any bar patron who even dared to look her way. But more than anything, she remembers the flashes of Caitlyn in every body, the way her ghost haunted her from behind curtains and from people’s smiles and from the shadows of the strobing lights at the bar.
But now, here Cait is, live and in the flesh.
And Vi doesn’t feel angry anymore.

"Feed off me." She said. Caitlyn looked at her like she had grown a second head. "What- What?" Baffled Caitlyn pushed back vi, pressing her hand against the Werewolves chest. Letting out a laugh "Your fucking with me." Usually she would be forbidden in her coven to use such words but her startled nature begged to differ.
"I'm not going to feed off a werewolf, it doesn't work like that. Your blood is different from humans." Her eyebrows furrowed as she told the Werewolf who looked confused.
"How is it different? You saying I'm special, Cupcake?" Vi raised her eyebrow, teasing the other.
"You were just threatening my life and now you want me too- to, Feed off you? This is some pathetic joke so you can get some quick meat-"
