"Yes? Ishigami speaking," he answered, expecting to hear the voice of the director of Tokihama Technical Institute. It wasn't unusual for him to get a call. Senku had a natural tendency to stand out... or cause accidents in the name of science.
"Ishigami-san, I apologize for bothering you. This is Principal Takayama of the school," said a deep voice on the other end of the line. "I need you to come to the school. It's about your son."
Byakuya gave a patient smile. He'd expected it. Maybe Senku had finished his homemade particle accelerator project, or maybe he'd won another innovation contest without even mentioning it.
"Is this a scholarship? Another promotion?" he asked eagerly.
"Not exactly. It's... a disciplinary matter," the director replied, clearing his throat uncomfortably.
Byakuya's eyebrow arched. Discipline? Senku? It didn't quite fit. His son was stubborn, yes, and extremely direct, but he didn't usually break rules just for the sake of it. The headmaster continued, his tone almost embarrassed:
"We found him in the chemistry lab... kissing another student."
There was a pause. Byakuya blinked.
"Excuse me?"

He grumbles, annoyed by the escandale his classmates are making at this early hour, waiting for Mr. Aizawa to finally arrive in the classroom, along with the few remaining students. His eyes can't help but drift to the entrance when he, the boy with green hair and bright eyes, enters with that striking smile.
For the first time that day, his expression relaxes, expecting that stupid greeting from his rival. Like every damn morning. But he frowns when, in fact, nothing happens. That useless guy just sits down and starts preparing his notes.
"Good morning, Deku," he turned around to greet him, hoping Izuku was just too sleepy to notice him.
"Oh, good morning, Bakugo-kun."

Gruñe fastidiado con el escándalo que hacían sus compañeros de clase a esas altas horas de la mañana, esperando que el profesor Aizawa llegara de una vez al salón, junto con algunos pocos que faltaban. Sus ojos no pueden evitar dirigirse a la entrada cuando él, el chico de cabello verde y ojos brillantes, entran con aquella llamativa sonrisa.
Por primera vez en ese día, sus expresiones se relajan, esperando recibir ese estúpido saludo de su rival. Como cada maldita mañana. Pero frunce el ceño cuando de hecho, nada sucede. El inútil solo se sienta en su lugar y comienza a preparar sus apuntes.
-Buenos días, Deku – se da vuelta para saludar, con la esperanza de que Izuku solo estuviera demasiado dormido para darse cuenta de su presencia.
-Oh, buenos días, Bakugo-kun.

"Aren't you scared, Kacchan?"
Izuku's voice sounded calm, so Katsuki allowed himself to relax too.
"Who do you think you're talking to, nerd? Someone who pretends to be Japan's greatest hero can't be afraid," Katsuki replied with mock arrogance. He knew it: being number one didn't mean not being afraid, but rather acting despite being afraid. But today he needed to pretend that fear didn't exist, or panic would devour him. Izuku chuckled softly.
"I'm talking about a different kind of fear. I'm terrified of the thought that I could die without having experienced some things that were supossed to be normal."
"We go through a lot more than anyone else our age."
"And those people also experienced a lot of things we didn't."
"Where are you going with this, Izuku?"

La voz de Izuku parecía tranquila, por lo que Katsuki se permitió relajarse también.
- ¿Con quién crees que hablas, nerd? Alguien que pretende ser el mejor héroe de Japón no puede tener miedo - responde Katsuki con falsa soberbia. Lo sabía, ser el número uno no significaba no tener miedo, sino actuar a pesar de tenerlo. Pero hoy necesitaba fingir que el miedo no existía, o el pánico lo comería vivo. Izuku río por lo bajo.
- Me refiero a otro tipo de miedo. Me aterra pensar que puedo morir mañana sin haber vivido muchas cosas.
- Pasamos por muchas cosas más que cualquier otra persona de nuestra edad.
- Y esas personas también vivieron muchas otras cosas que nosotros no.
- ¿A donde quieres llegar, Izuku?
