Fuzzby looked down, brow raised. “Reasons why I don’t love Judy Hopps?” She scanned the list. “Number fifteen is her eyes?”
“They’re terrible!” he declared. “They keep me up at night with how awful they are!”
“Uh huh.” She scanned back up. “Number two, you wrote; ambition.”
“Don’t get me started. She’s too passionate!”
Fuzzby flipped through the list again from number one (kindness) all the way down to number forty-seven (her soft ears). She looked up at Nick, unimpressed. “You do realize that this does the opposite of proving your point, right?”
Or: Nick pines over his best friend, accidentally writes love letters, and gets read to absolute filth by his therapist.

When Te Fiti blooms again after the return of her heart, unbeknownst to everyone, those blooms include spores of Flower Sickness, and Moana carries the infection within her until her heart decides who she can't live without.

Now that’s something Maui’s used to hearing. He gets it so often that he honestly forgets it’s supposed to be an insult. It stopped hurting his feelings about five hundred or so years ago.
…But he usually gets that from people he’s actively gone out of his way to bother, or from gods he’s stolen from for the good of humanity, or other demigods who are clearly just jealous of all of his accomplishments in comparison to their own. And sure, okay, he’s heard it from his fair share of humans after he stole Te Fiti’s heart, but they usually use much…stronger language, and the people saying it to him are usually adults.
Simea’s only…what? Two, three years old? What could he have possibly done to her?
