They’re both immovable objects against each other’s force of will, but Viktor has had anger in his blood for days without an outlet and he wants a fight he can win. He’ll take Jayce head on, and do it gladly. Jayce, meanwhile, has always bowed to Viktor when it mattered and almost nothing could matter more than this.

Over Tommy’s shoulder: that’s how he first really laid eyes on Eddie Munson. The other boy was on the floor, propped up on one elbow. He was decked out in a pair of dark jeans that seemed to be more holes than denim and a faded black t-shirt, and he had a hand up over his nose. There was blood on the lower half of his face and a few tendrils of long curly hair were stuck to where there was blood already on his lips. It was October of ‘83, coincidentally around the time when he realised Nancy Wheeler had her eyes on him as much as he had his eyes on her. But Munson's eyes were wide and dark as pitch and Steve had a half moment of /Wow/ - like the same /wow/ as when he saw Nancy cheering for him at last week’s basketball game, a breathless feeling that caught in his chest - before the moment passed.

Summary
“I’m not a pushover,” Zoro says, because this is important. He needs Sanji to know this. “I don’t let anyone tell me what to do, normally.” Before - before Luffy. And Zoro hadn’t realised that he was waiting for this, for someone to come along who was worthy of being his captain and commanding his loyalty. He didn’t realise how it would settle him, right to his core, like the weight of a perfectly balanced sword in his hand.
“Believe me,” Sanji says, “I know.”
“I’m not weak.”
He laughs. “No fucking shit. Some day I swear you’re going to cut the goddamn ocean in half.”
Zoro huffs a little laugh of his own and settles further into Sanji’s grip, a tension he didn’t realise he was carrying dissipating from his shoulders.
“I like it,” he admits, quietly. “I like that it hurts.”
Sanji’s eyes are softer than Zoro’s ever seen them. “I know that, too,” he says.

Summary
When he meets the one of the waiters of the Baratie, Zoro knows the precarious balance he established for himself won't last long - especially when the world comes crashing down. He's not scared of death, not really. He's just scared of telling his captain.
TLDR; Zoro is horrible at feelings, kinda agoraphobic and needs anxiety meds, and Sanji can't say no to pretty men, especially when they're a little rugged and demented.

Sanji’s laugh twinkles like distant stars as he dances back, out of reach. “Mm, I don’t think so. You were the one who needed to be unwound a bit, weren’t you?”
“You’re not serious.”
Sanji laughs again, already turning away. “G’night, mosshead, no need to tell me how much you enjoyed it.”
“Waiter, what the fuck—”
He leaves Zoro standing in the crisp air as the sun barely peaks the tips of its fingers over the horizon.
Before Zoro kisses him, he’s going to kill Sanji first.
Fooling around with the waiter would be great, actually, if Sanji wasn't the most infuriating person alive.

“Say,” Sanji says to Nami, leaning backwards against the wood top while watching the frankly fascinating scene playing out at the other end of the bar, “is Zoro…being flirted with?”
“Yeah,” she says as if it isn’t anything new.
In which Sanji stumbles into some realizations and then proceeds to enact a multi-step plan of subtle romance. Meanwhile, Zoro suspects the waiter is out to kill him.
