Summary
Neal spent his whole life following a ragtag gang of crooks in Lucien from one misfortune to the next. When it all blew up in his face and he was framed for a crime he didn't commit, he fled to Sandrock on a stolen horse with nothing but the clothes on his back and a dark secret hanging over him. He thought he could turn over a new leaf and live a simple life as a builder, but it didn't take long for his past to catch up to him.
