Summary
Juniper is just another Genshin Impact player, finishing up the Sumeru questline. He's been enjoying it, and already has some favorites. Admittedly, Juni's favorite Harbinger is Dottore. And he may or may not have started playing the game because of him.
But as they're finishing going through the final dialogue between Dottore and Nahida... the laptop begins glitching out. And Il Dottore, the second Fatui Harbinger, is suddenly in Juniper's bedroom.
When the shock settles, Juni is left with the stranded mad scientist, who has no interest in him. But he's sure he can at least keep him from causing any problems in the real world... right?Each chapter is a different story as these two navigate a slowly budding friendship, which becomes much deeper than either of them expected. And it's Il Dottore experiencing the real world, and what it means to be a person.
POV will shift between Juniper and Dottore, depending on the situation I put them in!
NOTE: Some of these experiences are based off things in my real life, especially when it comes to Juni. He is the cooler version of me lmao

Feofan witnessed and partook in humanity at its most potent–debts accrued, paid voluntarily but usually collected by force, through transactions more unfair than not, calculated through information and manipulation, which become their own transactions to orchestrate–but it was with Dottore that he felt like he could be most human, most himself. Dottore, who treated people as things to study and dissect, was at the same time unfiltered with his desires and intentions, even with his face obscured by his mask. Offer him acceptance and loyalty, and he will repay it in kind. It was still a transaction, yes, but a simple and straightforward one.

Summary
Pierro visits Dottore to congratulate him on his successful mission. It's been some time since he last spoke to his Second face to face in a private setting, without prying eyes and judgemental looks. Yet, his Doctor seems distant, his boisterous attitude gone, replaced by a gloomy bitterness directed towards the Jester.
Maybe he shouldn‘t have declined so many invitations from his lover. Because someday, they simply stopped and Pierro found himself too occupied to care. It dawned upon him just now, ten years later, that Dottore may have understood his behaviour as rejection.
