The covered head turned towards her, the intruder slowly lifting their hands in surrender. The movement shifted their cloak, revealing a satchel beneath, the top edge of a crystal piece glittering in the pale light.
A thief.
”Who are you?” She demanded.
The thief paused, fingers twitching in the air before moving to the hood of the cloak. The hood dropped back to reveal brightly colored hair, at the same time that a voice Caitlyn had not heard in nearly a decade spoke.
