Frank and Gerard start to notice changes- already pale skin getting paler, canines sharpening, a strange aversion to garlic- and they get suspicious. Shit happens. American rock band My Chemical Romance are on the verge of super-stardom with the release of their second album Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge. Two months into their North American tour and expectations and tensions are running high for all the band members but especially their charismatic and flamboyant front man, Gerard Way. Not only is he having a seriously shit day, but he is experiencing the worst case of fucking deja-vu of his life. Except it can’t even be called deja-vu when it’s the exact same day. Again.

Gerard is a gay single dad, and Frank is recently divorced and also a dad with a ton of dogs. But it’s the first time Frank has ever been with a guy, and I wanted something sweet about him navigating his feelings and figuring it out.
