Summary
Dashing Triad leader Du Zi Feng and charming veterinarian Chu Zhe Rui are rivals for Pi Ya Nuo's love.
But secretly both have started coughing up flower petals. It is Hanahaki disease, caused by a rare and ancient love curse.The stakes in the quest for love have suddenly become life-or-death for both men, as the only known cure is for the object of your affection to love you back. According to the stories handed down for generations, the tragic alternative is to exhale flower petals until you eventually choke to death.
How can both men survive when only one can ever have Ya Nuo's heart? What is true love? How can you prove it? What are the rules to this cruel and tragic disease?
So who will defeat this centuries-old curse? And when it comes down to the wire, what will each man be wiling to stoop to or sacrifice for Ya Nuo?
The plot is canon except for the addition of the disease. (So NO threesome!) And yes, this a slightly different take on Hahahaki. If you have come here following the Hanahaki tag and are unfamiliar with the TV show Bromance, you should still be able to follow. (But watch the show anyway! 😊)

"Bromance" crossed with "Coffee Prince."
At the end of each episode of the Bromance tv series there was a music video featuring the characters in an alternate storyline. A more stylish Ya Nuo portrayed a piano-playing barista, and a frizzy-haired Zi Feng portrayed a young businessman customer who also played guitar.
It reminded me a bit of Coffee Prince. So I had to see what would happen if Ya Nuo were only pretending to be a guy for her coffee shop job. And Zi Feng were the owner's nephew...

Summary
At the end of each episode of the tv series (and sometimes in snippets during the breaks), there was a music video portraying the characters in an alternate but similarly romantic storyline.
A more stylish Ya Nuo portrayed a piano-playing barista, and a frizzy-haired Zi Feng portrayed a young businessman customer who also played guitar. Ya Nuo would serve coffee to Zi Feng. He would listen to her playing the piano, she listened to his guitar. They arm wrestled. They pined for each other.
This fic is based on those versions of the characters and what their story might have been.
This one keeps Ya Nuo's crazy prophecy and many of the original character relationships, but with a coffee shop twist.
Also Han Sheng returns being his awesome bad self. I hadn't intended to include him, but I couldn't help it!Series

Summary
After accidentally breaking a window on Tin's car Can had to find a way to repay Tin. Tin suggested that Can pretend to be his boyfriend at a few functions in an effort to annoy Tin's parents, well that is the excuse he gives Can. But Pete knows all to well about Tin's crush on the shorter boy and is happy to watch and mock Tin at every opportunity.
