Anos 30 e a Era Vargas acabou com todos os representantes estaduais brasileiros. O que mais sofreu com isso foi Vicente Pereira, o representante de São Paulo, que foi afastado de todas suas atividades por quase vinte anos. Em 1950, SP decide voltar ao cenário que foi excluído, tentando corrigir os erros que um dia o arruinaram e recuperar sua proximidade a pátria. Durante o seu progresso, ele se alia a uma antiga região, o Leste Meridional, porém, ser aliado do grupo mais admirado desse país carregará um risco, um que ele mesmo escolheu.

The guard crosses his arms. It’s hard for Pac to keep his eyes up when he sees the fabric of the man’s shirt stretch across his chest like it’s struggling to stay together.
“Nice try,” the man scoffs, and Pac blinks, brows furrowing. “That excuse’s been tried before. None of the dancers are expecting visitors tonight. Get on outta here before I hafta put you on the blacklist.”
In an instant, the engineer is flustered.

Pac’s presence is like being directly under the sun — warm and bright, but maybe a little too bright, and Fit doesn’t understand why. He just knows he doesn’t like how he’s shrinking back from it instead of basking in it like he used to.
“You’ve been surviving for too long,” Pac states. Like he knows, because of course he does.
Fit gives a strained smile. He feels like he’s been broken open, but he can’t find it in him to try to clean up the ugly mess that spills out. Pac’s always had that effect on him.
“What gave it away?” he jokes dryly.

Fit struggles to readjust after years being back in the wastelands (yes this is very indulgent emotional hurt/comfort and fluff so sue me). Rated M for mature themes.
