Summary
The allegory of the cave is a thought experiment by Plato, related to the nature of learning. It describes prisoners locked within a cave, forced to watch shadows dance on cold, stone walls. When one prisoner escape, they relay with endless admiration the depths of the true world just over their shoulders, within their grasp. The prisoners are not moved to action.
Shadows and cave is all they know. There is no true world; there is only the cave.
Well, AJ thinks she knows a thing or two about caves.

“I’m not sleeping with AJ,” Ghostie points out. “I don’t even think you would want me to sleep with AJ.”

Summary
Osteon gave AJ a book about "morphic mages" and some insight on what she could to to relieve the curse of constantly feeling like she is decaying. One solution was smoking lavender and another highly effective option is to have around Open Book. It's odd, but on a day where the rotting feeling was especially worse, she succumbed and decided to spend her evening with Drift.
OR AJ gets roped into getting her makeup done by Drift.
