“I just… I don’t want to lose you again.” Mike confesses.
Will looks back at him, his eyes softening.
“You won’t lose me.”
“Okay, good. I mean, you know I’d do anything in my power to get you back, right? But I’ve already almost lost you like three times, and I’m really not in the mood to go through that again. So just… don’t do anything stupid, okay?” Mike finishes his rant, cheeks probably flushed from the amount of words per second tumbling out of his mouth.
“Okay.” Will says, laughing softly. “I’ll try not to.”
Mike grins, and the matching grin that Will sends back gives him a feeling he can’t quite name.
