“He’s-” Ringo splutters, and his tongue suddenly feels a bit too big for his mouth. George is, apparently, without his knowledge, his boyfriend. And that’s ridiculous, ‘cause he’s George, and there’s no way George would date him. “He’s-”
“Your boyfriend,” John supplies unhelpfully.
“Not,” he spits out. He feels his cheeks burning, heart running a marathon and stomach doing backflips. “Not my boyfriend.”
John stares at him. Just stares at him in complete silence for five long, torturous seconds, before a smile breaks out on his face and he chuckles. “You are pullin’ my leg, aren’t you? Good one, that.”***
Ringo and George are not dating. They're not. John (and also Paul) think otherwise.

Summary
"I want to go find me real dad," said John.
Paul quite nearly choked on his toast. The keys kept twirling.Paul McCartney turned seventeen years old in the summer of 1992, and he only wanted two things out of the holiday: to play music, and to laze about, at least until he had to go to work.
This plan worked out excellently for him until the first day of July when John Lennon turned up on his doorstep. Holding the set of keys to a brand-new motorbike, and with the intent to track down his long-lost biological father. After a bit of resistance, Paul went along. Because how could he not?
Thus began their thirty-day road trip across Great Britain: a journey that changed not only Paul’s perception of the world at large but his perception of himself and the people he thought he knew inside and out.
