The silence between them grew, thick and suffocating, as Wonwoo’s confession hung in the air. He waited, heart pounding so hard he feared it might burst. Every second felt like an eternity, the weight of his unspoken hopes pressing down on him as Mingyu stared back, his expression unreadable.
Wonwoo’s mind raced, searching Mingyu’s face for any sign, any flicker of emotion that could give him a hint of what was coming next. But Mingyu, for once, seemed hesitant, his lips parted as if searching for the right words, yet not speaking. That hesitation—it shattered Wonwoo’s fragile hope.
"Mingyu?" Wonwoo’s voice was barely a whisper, a plea for something, anything.

Chan assured him, squeezing his hand gently. “Best we can do now is to stay alive so we can make that perfect, dreamy list come to life, yeah?”
It should’ve seemed like a simple promise to do, staying alive. Yet, somehow, they carried even more burden now. But when his gaze landed on Chan’s face that was offering him a gentle smile, soft curls on the corner of his lips, not to mention how his hands were still radiating warmth directly to Hansol, he found that it might be possible to stay alive for him. Because, who knows? Other than staying alive to make their perfect list come true, Hansol might as well have earned the perfect timing for him to confess these enormous feelings of love that he had been bearing for him since forever.
“You’re right,” Hansol put his other hand on top of Chan’s hand, squeezing it firmly. “We should stay alive, Chan-ah.”
