Another College AU
Lilith and Beatrice have grown up together, seen each other through Bea's homophobic parents and Lilith's own parents' impossible expectations of her. Having gone to a catholic private school, it wasn't easy navigating the realizations of their sexualities. It helped to have a friend through it all. They meet Shannon their junior year, who helps them come to terms with accepting who they are and what makes them special.
Finally growing out of the orphanage meant Ava, Camila, and Mary were on their own for the first time in their lives. They don't give it a second thought to all attend the same university, stick together as they figure it all out.
Then, they meet Lilith, Beatrice, and Shannon on a night out at the end of their first semester. Not at all expecting the ways all of their lives would change as a result.

Lottie bites her tongue to keep from reminding Natalie just how long she's stuck around for their friendship, despite being forced to watch this train wreck of Nat's relationship like a masochist.
