When they emerged from behind the van, a crossbow was pointed at Dean’s face.
He grinned and said with no small amount of sarcasm, “Heard you could shoot a squirrel through the eye every time?”
Daryl glared at him. “Sure as hell can shoot ya from here.”
“You sure could,” Dean said as he examined the other man.
He had on thick canvas trousers and a flannel shirt with ripped off sleeves. A leather vest settled over his broad chest. Dean couldn’t help but notice how thick his arms were. His dirty blonde hair was wet with sweat and grime. His eyes were sharp, fluttering between Dean and Sophia, judging him, and measuring the distance between them. His arm didn’t waver no matter how long he held up the heavy crossbow.
For the first time in a long time, Dean felt the stirring of attraction.

Summary
What if they hadn't stayed in Alexandria? What if the events of season 6-8 (and beyond) had never taken place?
In the barn, after the storm , Rick is having a terrible nightmare.
He sees a town named Alexandria, watches it being overrun by walkers and attacked by hostile groups, until in the end it goes up in flames.
There is a war and his group is caught up in the middle of it. Rick has to witness in horror as one by one the people he loves have to die.But a dream is no more than a dream.
At least that’s what Rick thinks – until Aaron comes into the barn and tells them about a town named Alexandria … After that, bit by bit the things Rick has seen start coming true.
Desperate to save his family, he tries changing what he knows is going to happen in order to stir their fate into another direction.
But can death really be cheated?
Psss .... spoiler: It's got a happy ending.

Summary
The zombie apocalypse couldn't have come at a worse time for Daryl. His implant is set to expire soon and with the world slowly devolving into chaos, it would be harder than ever to be an Omega without any sort of hormone suppressant. His brother Merle has been helping him mask his scent but when a new Alpha comes back in Merle's place from the group's supply run into Atlanta, Daryl has to figure out how to be a part of a group while hiding what he is for as long as possible.

Summary
Daryl's been on his own for six years now. Almost seven. He's been out of the fire, but he still feels the world around him burning. He likes his job at the auto shop. He likes his little studio apartment. He likes the neighbor girl Beth. But he still wakes up every night, drenched in sweat even when they're not in a heatwave. Still hears his father's voice in his head, feels the scars on his back like they're fresh. Still hasn't wrapped his head around his freedom.
Rick is powering through it. The loss, the anger, full custody of his two kids. It was a dream of his once to never have to send them back to their mother's house again, a silly thought but one he felt in his heart every time they left his Jeep for the week. He's gotten his wish now at a terrible price: the loss of his ex-wife and childhood friend, and the terrible knowledge he has to choose to bury for the sake of his kids.
Their paths cross and while Beth may try to take credit for playing matchmaker a little bit, they end up starting something that neither one wants to stop.
