Summary
The World of Pokémon is falling into disarray. Every year there’s a new Evil Team looking to take control of the Legendaries, or destroy the ecosystem, or remake the universe. Arceus, in His all-knowing wisdom, decides that the best person to bear the Weight of the World and save it is a ten year old child: Ash ‘The Chosen One’ Ketchum.
But the Chosen One is only a treatment to the world’s ongoing crises.
Cresselia sees the state of the Chosen One’s dreams – sees how his mind is being held together by fraying rope, and his aura is wild and unrefined – and decides that what the world needs isn’t to be treated; it needs to be cured. So, with the help of Uxie and the permission of Arceus, Cresselia summons a soul with the traits and predispositions required to stop the ever-escalating string of disasters the world is going through, and sends them down to the World of Pokémon.
The Summoned Soul learns of the beauty of the world, and of the people who threaten that beauty, and decides that she is going to protect her new home using any means necessary.
