A Grosse Pointe Blank AU; No knowledge of the movie is necessary, but I would highly recommend it if you like black comedy romcoms.

When they get sent on a joint assignment to investigate a string of strange incidents involving Superwoman in the middle of Smallville's annual spring flower festival, neither Clarke Kent nor Lois Lane is particularly thrilled. After transitioning in her early twenties, Clarke built a life for herself beyond the confines of her hometown and has avoided returning except to help her parents around the farm.
