It took a year after graduating high school to defeat Vecna. After that, Nancy finally went to Emerson to follow her dreams. After graduating, she moves back to Hawkins and it disrupts everything for Nancy, Robin and Steve who became very close in that year. While she's back, the feeling are re-ignited and burns to brightly that they almost can't avoid it. Besides, it's the first time Nancy and Robin have seen each other in 2 years. They know themselves now. But, more importantly, they know each other.

After a summer of heartbreak (for both of them, although Nancy more considering her multi year relationship came to an end), they’d been spending time together. At first it was because Robin felt like Nancy needed her but that quickly turned into just being friends. Oh, this was fucking perfect. Vi had been pissed since they had spotted the shiny, silver and blue bus that had “University of Piltover” painted on the side in neat font stopped on the side of the road with steam rolling out of the engine.
Vander and Ekko had gotten off to see if Ekko could help.
Ekko had gotten back on the bus after not very long, hollering over the music, which had gotten cranked since they were just sitting there, “yeah, they’re stuck. Radiator’s shot, it’ll need replacement parts and we’re nowhere near auto stores.”
There were a few groans of sympathy, despite the fact that the whole team knew the bus was full of a bunch of stuck up Pilties.
Vander wasn’t back on the bus yet, which meant…Vi didn’t know what.
“Hey, Mylo! Can you see him? What’s happening?”
“I don’t know. Oh, hold up. He just pointed at the bus! The fuck does that mean?”
Vi had a sneaking suspicion that whatever it meant, it was likely to make her day worse.

Summary
Gasping, Max came to in the real world again with a strangled cry and a pull backwards. She had been putting in all of her power to free herself from the chair in the memory, and it somehow translated to the real world, for she collapsed backwards in the chair she was currently sitting in, hitting her head against the wall and spilling the beer everywhere.
Other Max hadn’t warned her about memories from other timelines. Then again, she wasn’t sure that Other Max even knew about what happened to the Max’s she left behind.
Three months after the storm that destroyed Arcadia Bay, Max performs a last ditch-effort to go back in time and save everyone she possibly can. Left with nothing but a series of notes and a year that's planned out for her in full, a young Max has to try and navigate her new life while also playing the hero. A multi-chapter fix-it fic focused on AmberPriceField also featuring heavy ChaseMarsh. Mature themes present.
