Everything else is so fucking good. If Bucky could at least have the decency to fuck up some other way that would make it all so much easier. But no, he picks up after himself. He makes the bed. He backs Sam up without question even when he doesn't understand what Sam's about. He backs off when Sam waves him down and steps up when Sam needs him. He cooks and he runs the vacuum while Sam's out running, and he's so fucking good to Sam, and it's just this one fucking stupid fucking area of their relationship.
It shouldn't be a dealbreaker. Sam didn't know 'our sex is kind of bad and unsatisfying' was any kind of dealbreaker. He's told people with this problem to work on it, to figure it out, to think about what other kinds of intimacy might help support that gap. Reconnect. Don't just break up over it.
But it is a dealbreaker and God help him, he does kind of want to break up over it.
