In English class they are doing Sylvia Plath, this brilliant but depressed poet; and Emily Dickinson, this iconic lesbian that Gwen thinks that there should most definitely be a TV show or something about Emily’s life with Sue.
The teacher rambles on about literary devices and all that, and Gwen really kind of zones out because Peter’s sitting behind her and it’s kind of distracting.
Damn you, Peter Parker.
