Mel has been acting weirder than normal. Avoiding pretty much everyone at the hospital and disappearing at odd times during the shift. Trinity is... concerned to say the least. She's scared of the warning signs that Mel's showing and feels guity about not hanging out with her since karaoke.
When Mel reveals that she's pregnant and doesn't want anyone else to know, Trinity doesn't hesitate to let her know that she's there for her.

He shifts, grinding down slightly—barely—enough to draw a reaction from Ray’s body. Just the smallest arch of his hips. Just a quiet, involuntary breath.
Gerard notices.
“See?” he whispers. “Tails wagging already.”
Gerard leans in even closer. Their noses bump.
“I could make you beg,” he whispers. “Like a dog. Tell you to sit, stay, speak—watch you do every single thing I say.”
“I could collar you. Put a leash on you. Walk you around the apartment, all fours, obedient as fuck. Is that what you want?”
Ray’s lips part.
“Or maybe I’ll just scratch behind your ears and call you pretty. Let you hump my leg like a good little mutt.”
Ray and Gerard have been flirting for weeks, months—touchy, teasing, totally not subtle. So when Mikey finally blurts out “you know my brother likes you, right?” … it causes them to finally make a move on each other.
