Difficulty : 1.5This is the kind of professor that makes you want to come to class. The material is well-explained, and I did not meet a single person that didn't pass his class. Moreover, Professor Talis is BEAUTIFUL.
The only complaint I have is his weird mood swings.
One day, he went to class with sad puppy eyes, head down, and dropped dramatically on his chair. He gave us some papers and told us to "do whatever" because he had a fight with his partner and was not in the mood. Maybe his wife threatened to leave without him. That's the only evident answer to him banging his head on his desk with tears in his eyes.
He was fine the next day tho.
Love him.

He fetches the thermometer from the bathroom. It chirps cheerily as Jayce presses it to Viktor’s ear.
Viktor measures in at 101.7. He stares at the reading blankly for a moment, sighs, and promptly continues to argue anyway.

Set one week after Jayce and Viktor meet on that fateful night at Jayce's apartment.
Jayce crouches down to his level, reaching instinctively toward the jagged skin before stopping short.
“You—” he can’t process the idea of it, let alone the reality. “You punched him.”
“Yes.” Viktor flexes his hand. “He deserved it.”
Jayce snorts, helpless. “You’ve got a mean right hook. Since when?”
"Since Zaun. We did not settle disputes with essays down there. And the children they, ah—enjoyed the extra challenge, of knocking down a cripple.”

Or: Jayce is fragile, and Viktor is astute; he is also alarmingly good at breaking noses in defense of his new academic associate.

”Viktor, can I fuck you?” Jayce knew it was the wrong thing to say as the words escaped his mouth, completely the wrong time as well, but then they were there, free to cause havoc, and he watched Viktor’s face morph from shock to bewilderment to annoyance, the three stages of dealing with Jayce apparently.
“What? Do I not fuck you adequately anymore? Do you have criticisms of my technique?”
If this was Hextech, now would be the point they’d both be ducking for cover behind the desks.***
