Susie,” Kris’s voice deadpans from the other end of the line, “if you don’t call me back in five minutes, I’m killing myself.”

    Noelle stares.

Susie coughs. “They, uh. They don’t mean that.”

Susie makes her first friend. Somehow, they're even more insane than she is.

    Summary

Five things you learn living with Kim Kitsuragi, and one thing he learns living with you.

KIM KITSURAGI: He closes his eyes briefly, takes a breath, and opens them. He looks directly at you and says, “You can stay at my apartment.”

AUTHORITY: It’s not an offer. There’s no, if you want. It’s a command.

YOU: Your eyes water even further.

JEAN VICQUEMARE: He barks out a laugh. “Fuck,” he says. “Lieutenant, with all due respect…”

AUTHORITY: He trails off when Kim turns to look at him.

ENDURANCE: I don’t think you know what you’re getting into, Jean concludes in his head.

    Summary

While attempting to rescue Aziraphale from a dangerous situation in Heaven, Crowley is killed. Aziraphale makes a bargain with God to get him back. Only, he’s got to find him, first.

“Anthony, I have your Mr. Fell here,” Madame Tracy says, in her breathy medium voice. “Is there anything you’d like to say to him?”
Yeah, comes Crowley’s voice out of Madame Tracy’s mouth, and Aziraphale grabs the edge of the table with his free hand until it cracks under his grip. He doesn’t notice. Because it is Crowley. He knows it like he knows - well, anything, really. Crowley continues, Yeah, you can tell that self-righteous arse “I told you so.”
Shadwell, lurking around the edge of the room, mutters a blasphemy under his breath.

    SHIVERS: They are.

    Excerpt:
KIM KITSURAGI: “Harry. You were - making noise.”

    INLAND EMPIRE: Moaning. Crying out.

KIM KITSURAGI: In the dark - the only light the streetlight and the neon glow from the Frittte cast in through the window - he looks unreal.

    CONCEPTUALIZATION: Ghostly.

HALF LIGHT: His eyes. You can’t see his eyes.

INTERFACING: You have to land a hand on his knee, to see if he’s real.

KIM KITSURAGI: He’s warm with sleep. He makes a surprised noise, but doesn’t pull away.

    Summary

    Radios, recovery, and romance.

Or, Harry starts listening to the radio. It gives him something to hold onto. (And maybe discovers the lost island of Atlantide while he’s at it.)

Featuring: WEATHER FM, SAD FM, MIRRORBALL FM, and SPEEDFREAKS FM

KIM KITSURAGI: “You know, when I was a child, I used to pretend I was flying an aerostatic through the pale and had discovered Atlantide. Mostly when I was trying to fall asleep.”

ESPRIT DE CORPS: He still does. Nights he really can’t sleep, he soars low, skimming the city: its tall clear buildings sparkling in the sun, the river snaking through the plain. Far below, a man looks up at him, shading his eyes. A child waves at him. A dog chases his shadow, snapping at it, never catching it.
