Summary
The lyricist's own hands wandered up Mira's sides, her fingertips grazing the hem of her shirt. She hesitated for a moment before deciding to push it up, eager to explore further. But as the fabric began to rise, the taller girl's breath hitched, and she went still beneath her. Zoey pulled away to see Mira's eyes squeezed shut, her expression tight with tension.
"What's wrong?" Zoey whispered, her voice soft as she gently brushed Mira's hair away from her face.
"Turn off the light."
In which Zoey and Mira almost get intimate, but there's something that Mira kept hidden for way too long.

Summary
Panic gripped her. Aya was coming over. To her room, which was currently a disaster zone of unwashed clothes, dirty plates, and schoolbooks that had been untouched for weeks. Mitsuki didn't have the energy to get up, let alone clean. The bed creaked under her weight as she shifted, trying to decide if she could somehow ignore Aya's impending visit. But she knew Aya too well. She'd be at the door in no time, worry etched into her features.
