“I don’t know why I waited so long to do that,” Laios said. “But if we’re going to spend the rest of our lives together in my kingdom, why wait, right?”
Toshiro pushed against Laios’s chestplate, trying to get out of the embrace, but it was futile. And even if he could, there was no chance he could escape. All he could do was surrender.
“We’re going to be happy. There won’t be any more death or violence, just you, me, and Falin. We don’t need anyone else. We don’t need the surface,” Laios said. Then he kissed Toshiro again, and this time, Toshiro didn’t resist.

It won’t make him feel better, and Hajime doesn’t care. He drank himself here deliberately. He wants it anyways.
