He does this often — presses his mouth to each mark, scattered like stars over his wrist, his collarbone, his thigh, ends with the one above his brow bone. Maps them like clusters of stars in the night sky and catalogs the coordinates under his lips. Renjun’s body is a well-traveled path to Jaemin by now, and that admission alone implies a level of intimacy that friends with benefits aren’t meant to have, but Renjun’s not even sure if they qualify as friends with benefits, because sometimes he looks at Jaemin and thinks friend seems too simple a word to encompass everything that he means to him.
Or: It turns out there’s no rulebook for hooking up with your bandmate. Renjun learns this the hard way.
