For as long as I can remember, I've always been able to read people. Their thoughts, their feelings, their memories - all with a single touch. It is both my curse and my gift. Truth be told, it has its uses, especially when you're a pickpocket like me. When I had first touched him, I was expecting a normal, everyday man. However, what I found was something else entirely. Something dark and dangerous. A demon in the form of a deadly, yet beautiful man disguised as a butler... I shouldn't have tried to steal his pocket watch. Summary
After everything that had happened, Bruce decides to willingly commit himself to Arkham Asylum. But while he lasted fine enough the last time before getting out, this time he was going to be there a lot longer. And getting to see the difference in John's behavior when he's fully in his element is stirring something in him that he's sure isn't healthy.
Not with the way he's slowly realizing that the darkness in him that John had noted before so easily slips to the surface when he stops finding reason to care about things like consequences.

Set in Victorian London - Eve is set to inherit a vast amount of wealth and assets once her mother passes from her terminal illness. Problem is, her mother is not willing to give her anything until she’s been married. Eve decides to summon a demon in the hopes it will solve all of her problems.
