Is this a good idea? Probably not, but it's too late now!

    Aizawa Shouta meanwhile—currently 29 years old—gains a headache and the urge to keep this green kid safe from harm, who seemed so determined to get himself killed. Also, a cat keeps popping up near him at odd places? Weird.

    I'll just update whenever I finish a chapter, which'll probably take a while until I hyperfixate on MHA again. Which could happen cause I read a really good MHA fic recently so :shrug: but Consistency can be thrown in a trash can lmao

    As the Tripartite Framework settles like a cloak over Yokohama, the city-state begins negotiating in earnest with the rest of Japan. Hero Society is rightfully wary of the Quirkless City, but open to reintegrating their civilian population with each other.

    If only either side were a little less proud, perhaps Chuuya wouldn't be attending UA as a first year in a 'show of good faith.' As things are, he's all too aware of his role as a barely-kept hostage, all while actually being a poorly-concealed mole.

    The timing couldn't be worse, with his assignment beginning shortly after what Dazai has dubbed the 'Stormbringer' incident, and amidst the brewings of what will one day come to be known as the 'Dragon's Head Conflict.' Nevertheless, Chuuya has fallen into his role as a Mafioso with a spotless record of mission completions, and he doesn't plan to change that now. At the very least, being so far from Yokohama means he won't have to deal with Dazai's bullshit for a while. Right?

    Gentleness is a mystery to him. He decides that is unacceptable. There are things that will always be a mystery to him, but this is not one of them. Dazai Osamu can learn to understand gentleness, he can learn how to be gentle. He simply needs a plan. Which is how he ends up standing in Chuuya’s genkan. Chuuya is understandably wary and confused at first, but he agrees to Dazai’s request. This plan might actually work.
