Mira laughed, shaking her head, a little teasing but entirely soft. “Yes, really. And you’re the one who said forever,” she said, poking Rumi lightly on the side. “That was supposed to be embarrassing, not me asking you to live together.”
Rumi laughed too, then said, “Yeah, I want that,” she whispered, fingers curling into Mira’s hand.
“Yeah?”
A nod. “Yes, with you, yes.”
