Summary
Barbie finally has a day off, a day she planned to spend out shopping and hopefully going out with her girlfriend Raquelle. Unfortunately, a day off doesn't seem to matter much to her infuriatingly parasocial fans and intrusive Paparazzi. Raquelle deals with everyone expectedly mean because that's who she is and what she's known for so Barbie doesn't have to respond angrily and ruin her image. Barbie, having enough of Raquelle playing the bad guy, goes off the deep end. Her day off turns into a night of impulsiveness that even Raquelle can't shut down.

Barbie always believed that a couple’s first anniversary was supposed to be an exciting time. It was supposed to be a day full of celebration and joy at having spent a full year together and eager anticipation of spending many more.
But she ended up finding out that first anniversaries could usher in so much more - things like identity crises and questioning what one truly wanted and learning to go against what one had been taught to believe their whole life.
It wasn’t the anniversary itself that had her making all these discoveries.
It was meeting Raquelle.
