Quinn had fretted over those tickets. She had clutched them until they crumpled. Then she freaked out and stacked five encyclopedias, trying to smooth the messy. Trying and failing.

Her head tilted back, soaked curls clinging to her neck, eyes glittering, and beyond beautiful. Lorena knew Suzie was a beautiful girl.
