Bruno couldn't understand what the prophecy meant. Yet, he made a guess. He had understood the vision wrongly, he predicted and informed them of a false future, and it led to a fatal mistake.
Blamed for the tragic death, Bruno received death threats in return. With either no one on his side, or no one taking the threats as heavily as he did, Bruno became such an easy target.

Diluc looked up at the clear sky, the sun shining a dazzling gold across the land as he fell towards the ocean. For the first time in five years, he felt alive. He felt like he could finally breathe. He was free. For the first time in so long he was free.
Which was ironic, since he was currently plummeting to his death.

Diluc attempts to sewer slide but Venti saves him at the last moment, leaving him to Kaeya to take care of him. Nothing could wrong, right?
