“Aglaea?” Caenis’s shrill voice quickly brings Algaea back to the present. “You seem rather… distracted. Has something gone wrong?”
“Apologies, council members. I simply was informed of an issue that needs my immediate assistance.” Aglaea’s curt nod of faux apologies only made the already quivering threads surrounding the council members shake harder. The mix of emotions carried by her threads, one encompassing Castorice and her lust, the others communicating the council’s disdain, made Aglaea’s head spin. “Unfortunately, I have to take my leave. We will meet again shortly.”

“...Alright.” Her voice sounded too soft in her throat, too distorted from her visor. She hoped Silver Wolf didn’t notice how it softened, hoped the wind drowned out her worries as she boosted forward to the Stern’s deck.

Summary

About the one she let get away. But, she reasons with herself, they were never meant to be identical, straight lines. They were intersecting lines- they were to meet at one point, and then diverge. They had differing life paths, Navia knows this. They were never meant to stay together.
It doesn’t stop her from being Navia’s muse. A part of Navia thinks she always will be.)

But she notices. The way Navia had become more…clingy. Touchy.
