“Hand,” Liu Qingge says. He doesn’t wait before immediately going to press his fingers to Shen Qingqiu’s wrist. The second wave of spiritual energy that Shen Qingqiu expects never comes.
“Did you take your medicine?” he asks. Liu Qingge doesn’t look away from the table.
“Yes, a few moments ago.” Shen Qingqiu watches him for a few seconds before turning away so he can continue getting ready for bed.
“Liu-shidi,” Shen Qingqiu says, in the middle of unbraiding his hair. He peeks out from behind the folding screen. Liu Qingge is scowling at the table like it insulted his sword technique. “I’m afraid we’ll have to share.”
