Overlord’s cold, threatening smirk morphs into a smile that is almost pleasant. “Merely pleasantries, Commandant. Having my way with the toys you have here does wonders for my poor, stressed self.”
“So you admit to it,” Damus comments. Overlord shrugs dismissively.
“Well, with this many, I’m sure you can afford to miss some. Why, you might as well make an exception for me! Else, I might take some liberties with you, instead.” Overlord’s gaze wanders Damus’s frame again. Damus’s sparkbeat hiccups strangely and his digits threaten to dent his servos with the power behind his grip. He keeps his optics on Overlord’s face, no matter how tempting it is to reciprocate those wandering glances. He would never hear the end of it. Overlord’s smirk widens. Damus’s fuel runs cold. Had he somehow sniffed out Damus’s thoughts? “Unless you want me to.”
Overlord's temporary transfer to Grindcore is either a boon or bane, depending on who you ask.
