"甜吗？" Ayanga steps back, and the moment breaks. Ayanga runs his hand through his hair, cricks his neck, smiles - a man, again, Zheng Yunlong thinks, and suddenly he can breathe again. He reddens, feels the blush heat its way up from his neck to his ears.
"What do you think?" Ayanga says, as Zheng Yunlong chews, the sweet fruit cloying, taking his time with it so he doesn't have to use his words. "Do I make a good concubine yet?"
