Maybe it was the way he never seemed to eat. He’d cook food for the both of them, but only ever picked at the tiny portions on his plate. He was too pale, too, and dressed like he was afraid of the sun. Almost every inch of skin stayed covered, even in blistering summer heat.
Nam-gyu didn’t hate him, far from it, but every molecule in his body screamed at him to stay away from him.
