Summary
“Sorry.”
Reo blinks. Nagi’s staring at his two empty bowls. “You’re sorry? For what?”
Nagi glances at him briefly before looking away again. “Sorry, Reo,” he murmurs again. “I’m being a pain, right?”
“What?” Reo says, his eyes widening. “What? No!”
Nagi shakes his head. “First, I ask to stay with you, then I ask you to cook for me…” He trails off. “I’m being selfish.” He looks up from his bowls again. “Right, Reo?”
If anything, Reo was the selfish one between the two of them—but he doesn’t tell Nagi that.
“No,” Reo says, reaching forward to clasp Nagi’s hands. “No, it’s… it’s okay.” Nagi still looks unconvinced. Reo hesitates for a moment before continuing. “I… I like taking care of you.”
Nagi does that faint, almost-smile again at Reo’s words. Reo’s heart does something funny.
Ah, he thinks. I might be in trouble.

Summary
When the town buzzes with news of a serial killer on the loose, Reo Mikage’s otherwise dull life finally gains a spark of excitement. Taking it upon himself to become the school’s self-appointed detective, Reo is certain he’s cracked the case: Nagi Seishiro must be the culprit. There’s just one tiny, inconvenient issue, he has absolutely no proof.
To everyone else, Nagi is just another quiet, messy-haired student who sleeps through classes and keeps to himself. But to Reo, behind those apathetic eyes and disheveled hair hides exactly what he suspects: a calculating, cold-blooded killer. Tracking him down, gathering evidence, and proving his theory becomes an all-consuming game of wits, and one that might just be more dangerous than Reo ever anticipated.
or Reo Mikage is convinced Nagi Seishiro is a killer, and he’s determined to prove it.

Summary
“—you know, they call him the treasure of Japanese soccer—”
“Treasure?” Nagi interrupts, all thoughts of the shorter article leaving his mind. He frowns, finally glancing back at the main picture. “This chibi?” he asks, and he can't help the hint of derision slipping in his tone as he eyes the black-haired player in the picture.
"No, no," Reo corrects, tapping his finger on the second figure in the picture. "The good-looking one."
Nagi blinks slowly. "Good-looking," he repeats, and Reo's eyes dart to him before darting away back to the picture.
"Err, yeah," Reo starts. "You know, handsome. Kind of in foreign-looking way, right?"
Nagi doesn't see it. He bites his tongue before he can say as much, but he can't help but prod for more information anyway. "Is it the hair?"

Summary
If my roommate wanted to move out so badly, why wouldn’t he just tell me?
I got kind of upset finding out, only because I thought the two of us discussed everything together. If he had a problem with me, he could at least try to talk to me about it before deciding to move out entirely, right? Even if it’s just so he can move out and buy a house for his girlfriend or whatever, I guess—couldn’t he at least talk to me about it instead of going behind my back?
The next morning, I was still upset, and it was a rare weekend that my roommate didn’t go out. So I asked him about it, sort of, and kind of insinuated that if he wanted to leave so badly, he might as well do it sooner than later. I didn’t mean for it to be rude, but in retrospect, it might have been unfair, especially the part where I told him I’d help with packing up. But I think I have the right to be a little upset, at least, right? AITA?

Summary
“C'mon, let me read a part from the first chapter to you.” Whether Chigiri enjoys the general chaos or watching him suffering, it’s anybody’s guess. Either way, the redhead clears his throat, assuming a narrator-like voice to proceed with his reading. “Nagi is nervous, but he couldn't leave his beloved waiting. How could he dare, when every moment, every second he spent looking at Reo was a blessing on his life, a dose of life-creating medicine. Sure, he technically existed for all those years, but his life as a genuine complete human only started when the ethereal light named Mikage Reo found him on a dusty staircase.”
“Projecting much?” Reo rolls his eyes, taking Chigiri's phone away from him. Wow, the story had over thirty chapters, and the same amount of words of your average novel. This person was perhaps a little insane, but they sure were dedicated to their craft, a characteristic that Reo couldn't help but admire.
[In which Chigiri and Reo explore the work of a very dedicated NagiReo fan. Set during the NEL]
