Yes, that’s definitely Takashi Shirogane the figure is holding up.
“Nope, no, nope, nonono, you don’t – I’m saving Shiro,” he says. He can imagine what he looks like – scratched up, bleeding, pants not done up right, and probably red in the face. He plops himself under the weight of the son of Zeus’s newly installed metal arm.
“Who are you?” the figure asks, and Lance gapes for a millisecond.
There is no way that Keith Kogane does not recognize him.
“Who am I?” he snaps. “Uh, the name’s Lance.”
There is no desired “ooohh” effect from the son of Ares who made Lance’s life hell for three years.
“We came to Camp the same year? You know, rivals? Lance and Keith, neck and neck?” Lance spits the words out pretty rudely, but it still doesn’t prepare him for the reply.
“Oh, I remember you,” the boy says, eyes sharp and dismissive. “You’re the unclaimed kid.”
In which Lance deals with finding out who his godly parent is, going on a quest to save the world, and his godly parent blackmailing him with the task of making Keith Kogane fall in love with him. Unlike Lance, it isn’t pretty.

Summary
Lance takes a moment to breathe. And then another.
It feels harder than it should, but then again, most things still do after Shiro’s disappearance.
Lance knows that if he doesn’t get his breathing under control in a couple of seconds, he might end up having a panic attack, and he really doesn’t want to have to deal with that right now.
Not on top of everything else.
Not on top of being rejected by Black, rejected by Blue, replaced by Allura, and being, in a way, forced to take on Red. Not on top of accepting Keith’s new position, or knowing that they had absolutely no idea where Shiro was, or not knowing when the next time he would see his family again, if ever, would be. Or that the Galra had gotten themselves a new asshole to rule over in the shape of Zarkon’s son.
Just. . . .Lance didn’t need this.

Lance leaned down to peck Keith on the lips before dropping to his knees. He heard Keith’s sharp intake of breath, and he felt the other’s legs shudder in anticipation.
“Is this okay?” Lance asked, hands working on lowering Keith’s pants and briefs, but hesitating.
Keith let out a sound that was half way a squeak and half way a groan. Lance had to hold back a chuckle.
“Yes,” the mullet headed pilot finally spoke, “more than okay.”

Summary
It was, he justifies, practically a life or death situation. It's entirely understandable that in the face of the mission stakes, he threw his whole self into it. Really into it. For the sake of believability, that's all. Life or death. Yeah.
And now, whenever death does find him, he'll go down knowing exactly what Keith's lips feel like against his; what Keith's tongue tastes like; the grip of Keith's hands on his body; the hardness of Keith's hips when Lance presses against them. Never in a million years did he think he'd ever know such things, but now he's never going to be able to un-know them. Hell, he can almost still feel the heat of Keith's hand through the fabric of these shitty uniform pants.
He almost wishes he could un-know it all, because then maybe he could forget how much he liked it.
Maybe he could even convince himself that he doesn't sort of want to do it again.
