Dream finds out that George has feelings for him and responds... completely unexpectedly, confusing the other by being upset at this change to their relationship, but, not able to keep himself from George. They start an ambiguous relationship, one that Dream seems to dislike despite being the one to begin the whole thing in the first place.George is still willing to accept it all, whether it's good for him or not.

Silence hangs for an unbearable second before the boy seems to relent, a flutter of a laugh slipping past his lips as he finally, finally turns to face Dream, who barely registers the chime of “I’m George,” because the blonde feels blinded.
George is brilliant, the sun seemingly pouring out of him. Light catches in his eyes like all it wants is to rest there, like the most fulfilling place for a moonbeam to land is in the warm pool of umber George offers. He’s the type of beautiful Dream could fall in love with.
