Eternity becomes calm and controlled as long as you keep a steady routine. That's what Alastor thinks, he's been thinking it for almost 100 years since a woman turned him into a vampire to avoid dying. But nothing lasts forever and, at some point, fate aligns the planets to cause an explosion in his life. And even more so if one of those planets is a Lucifer disgusted with a job he only does to protect his daughter. So what if that job consists of killing beings like Alastor? The universe hasn't taken that into account and doesn't seem to care.

"Sir?" Gatto’s voice was a wreck. He choked on a gasp soon after, likely when Desiré’s pheromones hit him, brows curving upward. Desiré hushed him gently, stroking his sweat-slick bangs aside.
“I’m here,” Desiré said as he cupped Gatto’s cheek, trying to assess how high his fever had gotten. He rubbed into Desiré's palm, no doubt finding the coldness of it soothing. Desiré moved to sit next to Gatto then, and soon after Gatto was dragging himself up so that he could lay his head in Desiré's lap.
“I missed you,” he whispered.
Gatto has spent years presenting himself to the public as a beta. Far too long, according to his doctor.
However, that doesn't prevent him from being drawn to one alpha in particular, nor does it stop Desiré from returning that interest.

Veritas pouts, “you’re no fun.”
Argenti stops and looks back over at Veritas. His empathetic red eyes are dark with a hint of sadism behind them.
“Oh, really? So, you don’t want to be fucked tonight?”
Veritas stares at him wide-eyed, he immediately looked like he was about to cry.
“I do. I do want to be fucked tonight.”
“Then be a good boy and hand him over love.”
