Her assistant’s breath hitched; when she exhaled, it fanned across Rio’s cheeks. “Are you sweet talking me for business or pleasure?”
Rio’s scent suppressants had to have been struggling, everything inside of her felt gooey and warm, and her scent was definitely reflecting it. When Agatha’s nose twitched, Rio pulled back, clearing her throat. “Sorry, it’s late. I’m tired.”
Agatha’s face fell, but she didn’t say anything about Rio attacking her with pheromones. Hell, Agatha most likely couldn’t smell them anyway. “Yeah.” She stood, shucking her skirt down and sliding on her heels. “You should get home to Wanda before she starts worrying about you, or something.”

He raised his chin, smirking as he quipped, “Just because men are educated does not mean they are intelligent.”
She finished the bow, smoothing out any puckering. Rio raised a single brow as she took the cigarette between two fingers again, blowing the smoke off to the side of the man. “Another topic we agree on.”
“How thrilling,” August smirked.
“Thrilling indeed,” she deadpanned.

“Hey—no, no, don’t put that into the universe!” Rio gasps, immediately stepping back as panic fully takes over her usual composure.
