Satoru takes another step forwards, arms spreading wide in excitement, “Yūji-kun! You’re here!”
“Oh my God,” the child repeats breathlessly, sounding far older than any child his age should sound, unable to tear his eyes away from Satoru. The boy shakes faintly, shock maybe, words a shaky exhale, “it’s really- you’re- you look- this is— oh my God!”
Annnnd there’s really no doubting it now.
Clearly those vivid dreams of war, imprisonment and eleven years of growing up is not the dream Satoru had thought it to be since waking up in the infirmary as a seventeen-year-old student, way back before the source of all his problems defected from Jujutsu society.

“Alright, alright. But, you never answered my question,” Suguru says with a huff, getting up from his bed. “Why me, why here?”
Satoru looks up at him on the mattress, beautiful blue eyes glowing in the darkness. “I’d rather spend it with you, duh.” Satoru says, like it’s the most obvious thing in the world.
Maybe it is. Maybe Suguru is an idiot.
“That’s kinda gay.” Suguru says, instead of what he really wishes he could say.
“Not if I say no homo.” Satoru jokes as he gets up.
Suguru's first year at Jujutsu High, eager to prove himself and show his classmates what he's made of. He ends up befriending the most insufferable boy at school, Gojo Satoru.
They end up being inseparable.
