Summary

“And what do I look like, pray tell?” Yoongi leans forward over the table. Their eyes meet — V is wearing blue contacts — and tension spikes in the room, like waiting for something to fall.
The singer shrugs. “Like someone who’s used to breaking hearts.”
A small, derisive snort makes its way out of Yoongi’s throat. “The only heart I broke was my own,” he swirls the drink around. “I’m a lot softer than I appear. My favourite colour is blue. I sleep with the light in the bathroom on.”
(Or the AU in which Taehyung is a dive bar singer who has seen better days and Yoongi is a college student who can't keep his eyes off broken things, especially when they sing with his Satoori.)

He regretted the decision to be alone now, though. His bed felt so far away, his head throbbing as he stared up at the lights far too bright to be comfortable, glaring down at him. Taehyung was unclear on what happened; he’d started feeling nauseous and hurried to the bathroom to throw up for a bit, and honestly, he felt a bit better afterward. That was until he was halfway across the bathroom after cleaning up, more than ready to sink into his plush bed and sleep the rest of whatever bug he had away when the room began to swim uncontrollably.
