The worst part is, he forgot Sam is his emergency contact. Opening his eyes and seeing that gorgeous face ignites Bucky back to life, like a direct shock to his heart. He’s awake, staring at Sam.
Then Sam notices he’s awake and his face crumbles into this terrible expression of concern. Bucky hates to worry Sam. He immediately regrets putting him as his emergency contact and shrinks with regret.
