Summary
He promised himself that he would never miss any signs again. Yet here he was, on a plane, flying towards his husband in the hospital because he hadn’t realized Ilya was in pain.
He thought about all the times Ilya passed on food lately with a random excuse. The way exercise had seemed harder. The way he turned down sex.
Fuck.
How did he not see it?
He was supposed to know these things. Ilya always noticed when something was wrong with him.
Why can’t he notice back?
Ilya must be so disappointed that he’s letting him down yet again.
