[They] were named after an ancient order of monks who believed in an all powerful force appropriately called “the Force” [...] The order died out not long before the creation of the warships[...]

Obi-Wan enjoys his life as a reclusive, best-selling mystery novelist. He likes the quiet that comes with living alone in an enormous cabin in the woods. Loneliness has never really bothered him. Or, it hadn't, until his publishing company sends him a very strange and expensive "thank you" gift for completing a project ahead of schedule. After a life-changing moment of klutziness reveals the truth about his new statue, Obi-Wan is faced with the sudden realization that the best kind of love is unexpected.
Oh, and a temporarily blind, half-feral Force user who holds the key to solving a centuries-old murder. He is also faced with one of those.
